Britney Spears Might Visit “Mother” Again |

Things are looking up for her, from expanded visitation rights to reprising guest roles. Craig Thomas, the CBS comedy’s co-creator, told THR.com that the episode for her second guest appearance left the door open in case she’ll be invited back to reprise her role next season. Britney guest starred in How I Met Your Mother as a clumsy receptionist who has a crush on Ted. Her first visit coincided with the show’s highest rating, and since then, they’ve been able to maintain the audience level, which in turn ensures their return next season. The show’s stars praised Spears, saying that she’s a natural comedian. Her improvised lines were a hit and she owned the character. The first time she guest starred in the show brought about great reviews. I haven’t been able to watch the second time myself but they say it’s even better than the first one. I guess it’s a good thing that she had all the experience in sketch comedy when she was in The Mickey Mouse Club. She never lost her spunk and was able to deliver funny lines with good timing. |
